U.A.T. Moreni municipality as a Project Promoter, implements the project DEMNI - Fair Development, Non-Discriminatory and Inclusive Measures

The project has a duration of 16 months and will be implemented at the level of the partnership created between: U.A.T. Moreni (Partnership Leader) UAT Adjud Municipality, (as Partner 1), and NGO Dantes Development Entrepreneurship (as Partner 2).

The total value of the project is 766,554.02 euros.

The project aims to improve the situation of disadvantaged people (of Roma ethnicity but not only) from the Moreni and Adjud localities, through sustainable interventions adapted to local specifics in the field of education, employment, labor force, social and medical services through a set of integrated interventions that solves individual and family needs for a total number of 1,550 people, of which at least 1,100 are Roma. Thus, the training courses, educational workshops, local initiatives and support groups have both an informative and a practical component, so as to guarantee a sustainable intervention, the aim of the project being the increase of sectoral or integrated qualities for Roma.

The project will act so that 420 people (of which at least 400 are Roma) benefit from employment measures (counseling, mediation, training) in order to increase chances on the labor market, it will intervene to create a quality educational environment at the level of the two localities through: parental counseling (for 130 parents/legal representatives, of which at least 100 are Roma), a program of non-formal education services for 320 students (of which at least 300 are Roma), material support for 320 students and will aim for 850 people (of which at least 800 are Roma) to benefit from socio-medical services through a mobile team and a daily warm meal.
